ELIZABETH HAINES (nee NEJEDLY) On November 28, 2000, Elizabeth Haines, beloved wife of the late Frederick Haines, passed away at the Grace General Hospital. Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Frederick and by her 11 brothers and sisters. She will be fondly remembered by her daughter Gail Haines and grandchildren, Devin, Colin and Aidan Lawlor as well as many nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was born in Ladywood, Manitoba and had lived in Winnipeg for over 50 years. She enjoyed the company of her friends and relatives, going to Assiniboia Downs and country music. She also loved cats and pampered many over the years. Elizabeth was especially proud of her three grandsons and has given them many wonderful memories of times with Grandma. Special thanks to the Grace General Hospital Emergency, 2 South and Pastoral Care for their caring and kindness. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 2, at 1:00 p.m. in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. A private family interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery at a later date.
